Gentlemen,

I have query. My project recently became a rolling chassis, which I am very much stoked about. However, I am out of alignment. I tried a few different techniques, (re-installed the wheel with the front end off the ground and loosened up the entire front end and attempted to re-adjust) but none of them seemed to work. I took off the forks and I may have found the culprit.

I am not sure if the upper forks were damaged when the bike crashed by the previous owner twice removed, or when I was servicing them...I don't know and doesn't really matter at this point. But there is a barely noticeable and subtle "imprint" where the pinch bolts adhere to the upper fork. Is this enough to cause the wheel to go out of alignment? A picture is not going to help but this will, brush your finger on your computer's mouse between the index finger button and the main body of the mouse and it is about as noticeable as that, maybe even less. .

I checked the front axle and it is straight as an arrow, so that also eliminates that.

Am I missing anything? Should I try anything else? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks guys and have a good Sunday.

P.S. Radare, I like the new forum layout. Simple, clean, and professional!
