overheated now bike wont start

Last night i was riding in heavy traffic. Then after a short ride through a 20 mph zone my bike acted like it wasn't getting enough fuel even when the throttle was wide open I couldn't do more than 30 and my bike shuttered until I pulled over and it died. Now the dang thing wont start. Seems like its not getting any fuel. Any help would be appreciated.
