Brake pads and DOT 4 fluid were done by me last August. Tires, chain, sprockets, rebuild starter done this past weekend (3/8), now it is time for valve adjustment, carb boots, fork seals and oil, pilot jets, setting float height, carb sync, vstar shock and r6 switches. Question is.... do i need to replace the valve cover gasket and the bolt grommets after performing the valve adjustment? I am adjusting due to hearing the ticking sound and it has had a recent oil change (150 miles on yamaha filter and rotella t oil). Thanks for any input on my question
