About a month ago I bought a project bike that was entirely parts. I have been working on it the past month and I have some questions for you guys. As a teenager, my mom is not likely going to let me keep the bike for use(I'm trying to convince her otherwise). For that reason, I bought the bike solely for the learning experience and the eventual intent to sell it. My step-dad builds his own Triumph bikes and when I saw the listing on Craigslist, I figured that this would be a good opportunity to expand my knowledge. However, I bought the bike for $600 and I still have to invest further money(out of my unimpressive bank account) for the parts. I would be ecstatic if I could fix this up and sell it without losing money, as I do not have money to lose. How much do you guys think is worth investing, how much do you think I will have to spend, and for what amount do you think I can sell the '94 Seca II?
The parts I absolutely need(that I currently know of) are as follows.
-fork tubes
-battery
-chain
It would also be nice to have some paint to redo this terrible paint job and a seat without chunks missing from it.
