Okay, so I replaced my rusty and crappy old petcock with a replacement today, but it wasn't an EXACT replacement. But it fits and it does work. What's different about the replacement is that it has only one hose nipple, not two like the original. Mine had a hose going from the petcock into the fuel line, and also a hose going from the petcock into one of the carbs. There was a third hose that came from the crankcase and went up into the tank. With the replacement only having one hose nipple, I sort of improvised. I have the fuel line going into the petcock and the carburetor vent hose going into the nipple on the tank and the crankcase hose just venting into the air. And it works. Runs and everything. But seems a bit sluggish. Soooo, I know I probably did something wrong here but I'm not really sure what. Any thoughts?
