Front brakes

Hey another question? I'm getting the fork seals changed because it was oozing oil and the mechanic who I've never worked with before suggested changing the front brake pads because they got oil on them. The original owner told me that those were new and the mechanic is up selling that the oil will just come off. The pads definitely look new to me and the brakes work fine. Should I swap them out?
