Mini fairing/fly screen options

Postby superman22x » Wed Apr 24, 2013 9:43 pm

Hey guys, I'm just looking for a little advice here. I would like to find a mini fairing for my headlight to help hide some of the wires. I have an 03+ Suzuki sv650n headlight, but it seems finding the stock mini fairing is impossible. Are there any cheap alternatives? I'm just basically looking for something to help cover the wires between the headlight and my gauges.
I really need to get that brake line adjusted too, haha. I just had it all taken apart, just temporarily sitting in that direction.

They don't have the screen I've got on eBay anymore but the same seller has a very similar but taller one.

You might be able to email then asking them to make you the shorter one that I have if that's the style you want.

Good links, thanks! I like the holeshot flyscreen, but man that is expensive!

The holeshot flyscreen is a reproduction of the buell M2 Cyclone and blast fairing. I found mine on ebay for about $40 if memory serves me right. The buell X1 flyscreen is also an option for something a bit different. It has an offset "hump" that could look cool. Radare was going to use one of those for his A to B '92 project but opted to stay with his holeshot one. You might ask him if he's willing to part ways with it, otherwise there's a few on ebay right now

The magic word expensive!
I have a NS F18 on another bike but found this on ebay and might try one for yet another bike....and it's cheap

I made the triangles to replace the factory clamp hardware, pic is before paint with rattle can bedliner.

And remember, anything you buy can be custom trimmed to be unique

Good luck, Tilos

I think I might end up going for one of the Buell flyscreens. Seem to be a fairly reasonable price.

I had a windscreen from „puig“ on mine, the feeling was better than the original fairing.

That looks really nice that PUIG, so it really cuts the wind down ?
