My bike usually idles at 1,500rpm, even when warm and on long rides.
Now if I ride it in the sun it idles at 2,000rpm and stutters when I open the throttle.
To me I'm presuming head gasket.
Anyone got any other ideas of a cause?
I'm going to replace head gasket and left cover gasket soon as the left cover is cracked but doesn't seem to be leaking.
I will do my valves whilst I'm at it.
I wanna set my carbs up but I think a lot of the screws are chewd up so I'm going to buy a spare set first.
Doesn't like the warm weather.
