- So, I see most people don't recommend using clip-ons for the sake of comfort. That said, I'm considering them just to improve comfort. My preferred riding position is laid down flat on the tank, head tucked behind the screen, and feet on the rear pegs. In that position, my arms are tucked under me too far, and the angle of the bars puts such an angle on my wrists that my hands go numb after awhile. I've never used clip-ons before, but it seems to me that they would benefit that style of riding. Has anyone got much experience with them? Is my thinking correct?
- If I do decide to try clip-ons, how easy is it? Is there any problem with clearance to the fairing? Do I have to replace the top triple, just slide the forks up, or simply clip them between the triples? Is one better than the other, and why?
Thanks!
