- Got my bike registered tonight, and found no hardware to put the plate on it. I buzzed down to Advance Auto Parts to pick some up (yeah, it's a lil cold, but I got to ride!!! :grins: ). I found some really great hardware.
"Cruiser Accessories" "Rattle Stop" Locking Stainless fasteners, part #81400, $3.99 (in Michigan)
- They isolate the plate between plastic washers to eliminate vibration, and use a security Torx screw (wrench included) to fasten on. Great idea! No fancy chrome, but nice looking for what it is, and stainless so no ugly rust later (in theory). I'll add a pic of them on the bike when there's more light outside.
