Rectifier Relocation

i want to relocate my rectifier. to my understanding it has to be grounded. it has a ground wire coming off one of the stock mounting bolts. is this a sufficient ground or does it have to be mounted to the frame? if it does have to be mounted to the frame anyone have an idea where i could put it? thanks in advance -Adam
