Hey guys, big question. Ever since I got my Seca 2 back in July it has had this problem going any faster than 85 (got it to 90 once), it just won't do it, and I have to push the engine to red line in 6th gear. Took it to the shop for a few days and they said they would probably have to open up the engine and poke around in there and who knows what it would be when they actually found it, so they said I should just leave it since the cost for the labor + time would be more than the bike was worth, so I just brought it home and they gave it to me free of charge, now I'm trying to figure out. The power is fine in the lower rpms of every gear, but by the time I get up to about 7 or 8 I have like 1/4 - 1/2 power. I can only get to about 23-25 mph in 1st gear till I'm red lining. Sometimes when I'm going down the road (happened twice today) I'll go out of gear mainly when clutchless shifting, and the bike is kind of jerky no matter how I shift.
So I was wondering, is my clutch shifting? If It is, what would you guys recommend I do/replace to fix it? Just the pressure plates? Or do I need to buy the more expensive parts like the basket
Thanks for any help
