Speedo Bulb replacement

This should be an easy 2 minute task ,but i have a 600n on a 2000 plate with individual chrome speedo and rev counter .The bulb has gone in the speedo and I cant work out how you remove the lower chrome part of the speedo to access the bulb.It doesnt seem to pull off or turn and i dont want to risk breaking something. Can anyone advise...thanks
