When I first purchased the XJ, it ran a little rough-ish. Not bad, mind you, but it just didn't seem to give all that it could. I figured that new plugs might be in order. So, the other day, I changed the them out. Whew! The old ones were worn and nasty, and it kind of made sense why the bike was running a bit puny. It was rainy/windy/stupid cold, so I didn't get the chance to take the bike out once I got the new ones in.

Yesterday afternoon, the sun was shining and it was fairly nice: upper 40s. I'll take what I can get. So I took the bike out. Oh yeah! The new plugs definitely gave the XJ more get-up-and-go. For about an hour, I road down the back roads, hammering the bike as I went. It almost felt like a new, more current ride.
