Hello my name is Bret, i'm new to this site so i'm not totally sure what to say here, i guess i will start with why i am here. I have been riding for about 10 years now and have loved every bit of it,i started on a little honda 100 and from there got to a big suzuki dr350 which is a beast of a bike,had many great memory's with it. couple years ago i decided to get myself a street bike and started to look for a good bike i decided on the 1997 Yamaha Seca 2 XJ600SJ dark green, i bought it for around 900 off of Craigslist, it needed a set of tires and carburetor needed to be cleaned.
for the most part it was a good deal, but the bike had a nasty looking dent in the gas tank which they said was from the previous owner dropping something heavy there.
so anyways now im here on this site because i need help and advice for my bike and you guys seemed very polite and knowledgeable.
