Need help fast!

Alright guys, i'm adding on an extension to my side stand so it doesn't lean as much with the new shock but I can't figure out a way to jack it up or at least keep it stable while it's being welded. I would have used a normal jack but I do not have one at my current residence. I tried using a board and a scissor jack from my car but the jack had a groove in it made to lift the side of a car. I would try and tie a rope under the frame and tie it to the rafters but that's a no as well because the rafters are sheetrocked.. Im in quite the pickle :help:
