Hydro dipping motorcycle parts

This is something I'm pretty new to and am really excited about. A friend of mine has gotten into the hydro dipping business and does some quality work. What interests me about the process is the cheap cost, easy and fast application, and uniform results. I've seen him do carbon fiber and after a shot of clear it looks amazing. Here's a gun he did the other night.

This opens up a lot of possibilities and I'm seriously. considering trying it on the xj. Heres a youtube vid of the process. Anyone try this?!?!?
