And this little guy poked his head out...

Petey!

Admittedly, an odd way to travel when you’re used to riding on a bike, unfortunately, the distance between my place and slimtech’s was a bit much so it was into the envelope for Petey. He showed up a little disoriented (sealed envelopes have that effect on many of us) so he’s been relaxing in the garage and brushing up on his pool playing skills. (But more on that at a later date…)
My Seca is in pieces and Petey is excited about helping put her back together. However, work and the holidays kind of got in the way of all that... Finally though, I had a free afternoon when it wasn’t cold and raining, so I backed out the trusty FJR and Petey tried it on for size.

Yes, Petey, the FJR is a bit bigger than a Seca II.

…and no, you can’t drive.

We thought about going to the typical SoCal points of interest but I realized that the place Petey (being the Seca nut that he is) would really enjoy seeing would be this building:

Yes, Petey, that’s Yamaha’s US headquarters! Home to the friendly folks that brought the Seca II to the US…

Wow, this is one big chunk of concrete!

And it says Yamaha right on the building in big red letters!

And where else would the corporate headquarters for Yamaha be but on Yamaha Way!

Ok, Petey, the sun is going down and it’s time to head home…

No, don't give me that look... We need to go.

Next up, Petey goes Hollywood and decides to go under the knife for some, uh, enhancements… Stay tuned!
