Hello everyone. My name is Dylan Brown and I'm in Marietta, GA. I got my first motorcycle about a month ago so I figured I would post on here. This site has given me the most help so far in fixing it up.
The Bike: 98 XJ600
I paid 800 dollars for it, got the chain and sprockets replaced. Next step is new tires, fork seals, clean carbs, and replace the valve cover gasket.
It does have a few cracks in the fairings and some work that needs to be done. I got a motorcycle because I always wanted something fun to ride and I did not want to spend a fortune on a nice sports car. I also wanted to learn more mechanically and I have plenty of close rider friends to help me out along the way.
