So I'm heading out today to look at a potential XJ project bike. If I decide to pick it up I will need to load it into my truck. Something I haven't done before. The engine is already out of the bike, so I would need to load them up individually. I don't have any ramps but I'm not opposed to picking some up on the way if this is the easiest way. I'm thinking of taking the exhaust pipes off the bike and just laying it down in the back of the truck.
Have any of you had to transport a bike this way?
Any idea on the weight of the engine alone?
