So I got my bike about a month ago and have put about 100 miles on it since the purchase. The original owner told me he had changed the oil about 500 miles ago so I figured I would change it out.
I bought some Castrol 20w-50 and a filter from a local small motorcycle shop. Pulled the plug, drained it, switched out the filters, and put 3qts back in.
It fired up great and I went inside to wash my hands and grab a beer. About 5 minutes later before I make it back outside I hear it sputter out and die. Try to start again, nothing. Let it sit for about two hours, nothing.
Any idea what could be wrong?? Didn't think I could mess up an oil change but I've never changed a bike before, am I missing something here?
