Whats Up! New from Chicago Suburb!

Hey there everyone! Name is Sam and im from the Chicago area. Bought myself my first bike two weeks ago and you guessed it, its a Seca II! I got my hands on a '95 with a little over 25k on it for $1000. Cosmetically and Mechanically the bike is in really good shape. Although there are a few things I will be doing this winter to get up to my standards and to make it my own. I am an ASE Master Automotive Technician with the L1 advanced diagnostics certification. I don't know a great deal about motorcycles, but with the Haynes manual and this forum I've already learned A TON about these bikes. I work at an amazing independent shop where I have all my tools, paint equipment, and plenty of space to work on it. Other than the oil pump drive pin rattle (I hope), most of the work ill be doing this winter will be cosmetic. Unfortunately, (to me) the bike is yellow. I plan to strip the bike apart over the winter and paint it up. Im thinking of some sort of orange or red, white, and black paint scheme. We will see how it all goes. Ill post some pics this weekend so I can hopefully get my stickers!! :tool:
