running rough

This morning my bike was hard to start, so it was in the prime position. I accidentally left it on the 30 miles to work, and then all 8 hours of work. I noticed it when I tried to leave, the engine didn't want to turn over. I got it started, but now its running a little rough. Did anything bad happen since it was on prime for so long? Thanks.
