I just bought a front headstand and noticed the front wheel is hard to turn when the bike is lifted. You can barely turn it with one hand. The caliper is indeed sticking. I removed the caliper to test my theory. The wheel was able to spin freely.
Do I have to replace the caliper? Note, the bike was sitting outside 6 years.
On a car, I would just replace the caliper however I've sunk so much money into this bike I am looking for the el chepo option. Do I have a chance in fixing by lubing or playing with the piston if possible?
