I took of my carbs and did the 10 cent rejet and #20 jets. I have a IR thermometer and want to make adjustments but I seem to have a few issues with the throttle cable I think. No matter where I set the adjustment with the 2 nuts on the carb it doesnt seem to affect the response of twisting the throttle to opening the carbs. Before I took it apart when I would let off the throttle there would be noticeable deceleration especially in 1st and 2nd gears, now it just cruises and I have to use my brakes if I want to slow down otherwise it almost feels like its on cruise control. Is this an issue with adjusting the mixture screws and idle that might go away after I adjust them or throttle cable? I dont want to wast time making adjustments if I have a throttle cable issue that needs to be fixed first.
