
First off I'd like to say THANKS! to everyone for making me XJ of the Month, I've been secretly coveting the position since it's creation! Now on to the bike!
You guys have been there with it since the beginning as I only bought it January last year, and most of the ideas/projects were from XJRider or the old forum-up site. So thanks for all the ideas and how-tos.
Here she is, January of last year. Just purchased from my (then) boss's brother for a grand sum of 1300$ 11,000 miles on her and in tip-top running condition. Its actually sitting in the previous owner's driveway. :D

Fast forward a few months she got a new tire and some Turtle-wax black wax applied:

Fast forward another few months and I tragically dropped her after getting freaked out in the twisties and attempting to stop instead of turn, i ran out of road and slid out in some gravel at approximately 5 mph (almost got her stopped darnit! )


Busted the right side front fairing and bent the front stay a little bit, but still ride-able and it looked like this for a WHILE.
The next time you see her she has had alot of ebay $ spent on her to the tune of:
- -FZR front forks/clip-ons with race-tech gold valve cartridge emulators (those just happened to be in the ebay forks :) )
-R6 front calipers
-V&H 4-1 exhaust
-Factory Pro Jet kit and K&N filter
-Corbin Seat
and the only new parts
-Rear EBC pads
-Michelin Pilot Power Actives in the factory sizes

And in her latest round of ebay-round-ups:
- -Belly pan (the purple is growing on me)
-CBR F3 rear shock (the height is kinda ridiculous! but it looks sexy)

So there she is, a whole lot of maintenance, asphalt downgrades, upgrades, asphalt downgrades again, and more upgrades.
