so, as most of you know.. im new to the scene. not too much of newbie
bout engines but definately new to motorcycles.
Im bout to do an oil change but i do have questions...
1. theres no dipstick... so i look at the window..
but to what level can i say "its low" or "its good"?
i know i need to have someone stand it upright and level for me..
...
also the level in the window... currently its showing half full...
does it have to be full? 3/4?
2. is there a proper way to check the level?
like do i have drive 15 min, check window... add oil, etc..
or is it straight up "check the window"?
oh! one more thing.. is a tap or knock normal?
i read somewhere on here that it is...
thats vague but i dont know how else to explain...
my friend said check the valves and i read a thread about
the screwdiver trick... ill try that
