charging issue

So Ive been having a charging issue with my bike for a while. I thought I fixed it at the end of last season but evidently not since it decided to park itself far away from my final destination! I replaced the stator thinking that was the problem. Last time I checked I was reading about 12.7 V at about 4000rpm I think? I know the battery has been drained and charged a few times so it may not just hold a charge. Any other area's I should question before getting a new battery?. . . again.
