I know there are a few mentions of oil catch cans, but they are scattered all over the site, so I hope you won't mind me creating a new topic.
I happened to break the plastic tee on the bottom of the airbox (apparently, PO has already superglued it before), where the valve cover breather hose connects. I was planning to repair it, but in the meantime I saw somebody on the internet empty the oil catch can on his XJ after few hundred miles and I was surprised with the amount of oil that would otherwise ended up in the airbox.
Is here somebody who uses a catch can on the XJ? I have no clue how much oil usualy goes through those lines, so does it make any difference?
