Currently she sits at 58,987 miles, I know, insane, however this bike forwhatever reason refuses to slow down.
I can drone on forever about the basic maintence that goes on, as we all know motorcycles need to go the distance, only out of the ordinary thing ive done is new coil packs, and NGK-R Iridiums.
I repainted her rear plastics, just a rattlecan job, but came out good.
More recently, she got new Grips, new bar end mirrors, LED front headlight with a new bucket, LED taillight bulb, and LED flowing directionals(Ill post the links at the end of the post)
As always when switching from conventional to LED bulbs, the relays wont work, but thanks to a company in NJ called custom LED(There are a couple forum posts talking about them and converting the XJ's to LED) company was FANTASTIC, and went as far as to call me and ask if he could ship it with a different provider to get it to me sooner(Next day as opposed to 3 days)
Now as for the future things:
-Delkevic 4-1 exhaust
-Thanks to inspiration from NelsonMD's build, an 03 r1 front fork conversion, and how lucky is it my buddy has an 03' r1 ready for salvage
-Rebuilding the current engine, im 900% sure she needs it even though she runs amazing.
-going to attempt to fabricate pannier brackets to fit the universal GIVI framework, rather not go the Hepco and baker route because they are impossibly expensive and hard to find regularly.
-Rear/front sprocket changes to help the bike on higher speed roads(She drones quite a bit on the 60mile an hour main road near me)
