So, just did my first disassembly and assembly of an engine. It's all back together and seems to be turning over fine. This has taken me a few months with having to order parts, get tools and learn how to properly do things.

Now I'm having a bit of trouble starting it but I think the carbs are the issue as the bike hasn't been running for a long time. I had quick look at it and remove the float bowls and blew some compressed air and looked through the jets to make sure they weren't clogged. Still no luck. Today I got some starter gas and surely the engine roared after a few attempts but it of course only lasted a few seconds until the gas was used up. I've looked at the spark plugs after the start attempts and they were still dry.

My ideas have been either the carbs are clogged or there's not enough compression. So I'm gonna go through the carbs and make sure they're fine. Does anything I've done exclude the possibility of compression issues?
