transporting a motorcycle

Maybe there is an answer for this already and if there is I apologize. I see so many bikes that I would love to buy, but transporting the motorcycle back home is my biggest problem. I thought about renting a Uhaul or using a shipping company....I don't know :what:. Can anyone give me some cheap or reasonable suggestions?
