Before you ask, yes I searched but did not find much help.
So, this bike has been sitting for years before I purchased it. Since then I've cleaned the carbs and replaced the float needles and pilot jets in addition to setting the floats at the correct height (dry method) .
I've cleaned the tank and replaced the rubber boots that hold the carbs and intake manifolds together.
List of new parts;
Spark plugs
Aftermarket petcock non vacuum
Fuel lines
Fuel filter
Carb boots
Needle valves
Pilot jets
Gas cap
Problem:
Bike will start up and run just fine and dandy in idle. Let it sit for about 10-15min. Once you give it throttle the bike acts like it's misfiring and dies. But starts right up.
I've tested the fuel pump ( gravity feed delivery) and same symptom.
Any input would be much obliged
