Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a little while and figured I might as well say hi. I just picked up a 96 Seca 2 a few months back and its my first bike. I almost bought a motorcycle years ago when a co worker tried getting me into it but I just never pulled the trigger. Fast forward to today and a buddy of mine got a Honda Nighthawk and his brother got one as well. So I started riding theirs around the neighborhood just to get familiar with things and I got pretty hooked. Went out and picked up the Seca 2 a few weeks later and here we are. I have to say this site has been invaluable so far. The bike was running good when I bought it but there was a lot of hesitation off the start until the bike warmed up for a long time. So this winter I took the carbs apart and cleaned everything up and threw in the #20 pilot jets for good measure. Haven't put them back on the bike yet as I still have to check the fuel level and was busy cleaning everything as best I could. When I pulled the gas tank I realized the petcock was not working properly, so thanks to this site I picked up the K&L rebuild kit and now all is good. Right now I'm looking into doing the naked conversion as I really like the look, but for now here she is.
