Hi All

I got my XJ600N back from her service. (I bought her about a month ago).
When syncing the carbs, the mechanic found out that one of the carbs was rebuilt and whoever did it used a non standard butterfly valve.
Although idling is rythm is better now, its still not 100%.
To my distress I found out that Yamaha South Africa will not sell the butterfly valve seperately and that I'd have to buy a new carb :(
I've also called local scrap yards to see if any of them might have a spare valve lying around, but they need the number stamped on the valve.
Do you any of your good people maybe have an open carburator where you can see the part number (or whatever this number indicates), so I can supply that?
Do you maybe know if any other carburetor will use the exact same butterfly valve?
I can get a full set of reconned carbs for about $250, but that's a bit above my budget at the moment. December was a loooong month :-D

Thanks in advance.
