Afternoon all,

I'm new to this forum and am in need of help straight away! I have a 1998 XJ600N and have recently replaced the brake pads. I had to put a bit of pressure on the pistons to get them to move, but then they moved in easily with my fingers. I have re-attached the calipers and tried to bleed the brakes, but the brake lever does absolutely nothing!! Have I missed something obvious?? :?:
I push the lever in, open the bleed nipple, but nothing happens. The reservoir has fluid in it, but it isn't going anywhere, even if I pump the lever. When I open the banjo bolt on the actual calliper, fluid drips out, but the reservoir stays full! Any ideas?? :wallbash:

I've seen lots of posts about bleeding brakes, and I am not a novice when it comes to mechanics, but this isn't makng any sense
