Intake Manifold Boots

My mechanic informed me that I need to replace the rubber intake manifold seals or boots because they are cracked. The price he quoted me for all four was around $350.00. I saw an ad on eBay for the four seals claiming they're brand new for $30.00 bucks. Is there any reason I should not buy these?
