17" rear wheel

I have a 94 xj600 and really want to swap on a 17 rear wheel. It is just a daily driver, I need to know if any one has had any luck with a direct bolt on. I have considered later model fzr rims or even r6 wheels, I see plenty of suzuki gsr rims on line too. Thanks for yalls help
