single sided swingarm

as requested heres a little info on how i got my nc30 vfr 400 swingarm to fit. first off break out the angle grinder and cut off both tubes at the bottom of the frame like so

then i replaced it with some square tube and made some tabs for mounting the new rear shock linkage

after that i widened the swingarm bolt hole to 20mm to take the new vfr bolt. could have made some sleeves for the xj one i ques but this is how i did it

also the vfr nut is too big to get a socket on so i trimmed it down to fit on the xj tabs inside the frame

then i made up a new mount for the top of the shock

to space the arm i used two of the chain side spacers cut down to get my spacing right i left the centre spacer as it is

so thats about it really. ill update with some more pics as i put it all back together over the next few weeks.
