My names Matt, I live in the central valley of Cali, Currently work as a freelance concept artist still in the early stages of my career.
Ive been on this forum as a guest for about 4-5 months now and took full advantage of the knowledge during my rebuild and thought i would register, say hello and Thanks for having a awesome group of posts that helped me through my rebuild. It was long and frustrating process but fun the majority of the time.
So allow me to show off what i did during the couple months i was working on this. Unfortunately i didn't take any progress shots or have any pictures of it in its originality when i bought it because i never expected to do what i did to it.. The story is i bought it off craigslist, First long ride it broke down and being a determined angry gentleman i am i started tinkering and within a few days i had it stripped down to the frame and all over the garage lol. It was at that point that i found the issues and with the help of this forum i managed to repair most of the major problems, with the added bonus of learning to paint it. Which i am not super satisfied with but a repaint will be in the future for it once i do a few more minor fixes to it.
So to everyone who has a write up in the How to section or a project they've worked on and completed or are still working on. Thanks for the help and inspiration.
