Hey, all. Well, the time has come. I have a '94 Seca II that I've been wrenching on in my garage for a few years, trying to rebuild carbs. It's just not my specialty - radare's YouTube series came about partially because I was nagging him so much for help, at the time. :-P It was tremendously helpful - I got it all apart, cleaned, parts replaced, reassembled. However I could never get the balance right, it wouldn't go over about 20 mph, no matter how hard I tried.

Time was a major issue for the past few years due to my insane work obligations, but I was laid off last fall and I'm still out of work. My wife is in a major clean out mode, and honestly we do have just too much stuff. I've barely had enough time to ride my SV650, let alone tinker with the XJ.

I have no idea what to charge for it - the carbs are currently not installed, it's obviously not in running shape. I'm pretty much going with best offer, at this point. I'd love to see it go to someone here who wants to fix it up. :-)

Details I can remember:

Bought 2013
Roughly 16k mi. if memory serves (most of which was the previous owner)
Delkevic dual slip-ons
OEM center stand (scored on eBay)
Naked conversion about 10 years ago - Trail tech Vapor gauge, radare's custom light brackets, 7" eBay headlight (gauge is attached with some janky brackets, I never got around to having anything custom built)
New rotors, pads, tires and DID chain in I think 2017 - barely any mileage put on them since then
Puig windshield
USB dongle for phone charger
Trickle charger attached
I had heated grips installed, but took them off - however they are too long for the SV, so I'm happy to send them along with the Seca

Struggling to think of anything else, at the moment. Anyway, I haven't been on here much - don't think there's classifieds anymore, sorry Arne if this is in the wrong spot!

Pics of the bike when it was last all put together. Carbs came off in March 2020 after I went for a ride and smelled gas in my garage - the seal on #2 was leaking.

I have a whole mess of parts, a service manual and some other things that all go with it. I still have the factory fairing, it has a scuff on the right side from when I dropped it on the first day I took it out. Genius move, really - haha. Just dumped it at the bottom of my driveway, at 1 mph - the fairing and right bar-end are the only things that got damaged.

I'm in Pennsylania, not far from Harrisburg.

Thanks!
