Hi everyone, I’m new here and new to my 1989 XJ600.
It’s a beautiful bike that just needs a little tickling to get it running right.
I’ve taken the carbs off and cleaned out a load of gel type goo out of the bowls and used carb cleaner and compressed air as well as my ultrasonic bath to clean them up.
I did find the screws on the top cap had been had at by someone with a posi drive instead of the JIS type as usual.
Does anyone know if you can buy the screws anywhere or what size cap heads would fit?
