Quite new on here and just want to say a massive thanks as I have learned a lot from scrolling through the different threads on here and anything I don’t know I just ask and like magic get the answers
A little bit about my 1993 Xj600s diversion
I bought it a few months ago and the original owner had chopped up the frame cafe racer style and added the big exhausts
He had ran the bike for a year or so and it was starting to look a little tired
I purchased it from eBay very cheap
Since then I have stripped it down gave it a deep clean
Raised the tank
Done the air box pod filter conversion
New grips and levers
Painted the engine
Removed the carb heater system
Removed the ignition
Added a hidden switch and a push button start on the stainless steel panels which I made
Stripped and cleaned the carbs following the fantastic walk thru found on here (brilliant)
New brake pads front and back
Forks service done at local garage
While I had the carbs off I had the rocker cover powder coated yellow (whilst off I checked the shim tolerances )
