Help please

I got me a new to me 1992 yamaha xj6 seca ii. Im having a little trouble with her. It starts right up idle's with a little bit of a hick up but not to bad. As soon as I put it in gear and give it gas it bogs and dies on me. My thought is to clean the carbs got looking at it am I missing a line off the shift side carb our is it supposed to be like that any help I would highly appreciate thanks
