I was looking for a cheap budget project to add to my garage.
Allrady i had for the last 7 years a 2002 Kawasaki zx12r. This works for fun, touring and commuting on tarmac, but i wanted somethig for more gravel use, and to slap on a tent and go camping.
The 12R with 180 horse and no traction controll is not a gravel bike to say the least.
I stumbeled across a 92` XJ600 in poor condition.
Then i got a few cheap parts on black Friday and on the used market, and the next on the list is to swap out the insanely long front brakeline from the previous owner, and get a set of Heidenau K60` or similar.
I got the bike for approx 600 bucks, so cheap and no beauty.
