Hey guys. I've seen this covered in a few posts for changing the crank seal and advancing the timing but I'm still having issues.

I too need to replace the crank seal behind the timing plate because it's leaking. Problem is I can't get the darn timing plate bolt out. I tried the c clamp as tight as I can get it. Keeps falling off. I tried the spanner wrench from harbor freight. Pins are way too small to stay in the holes. I tried a little heat and my impact wrench but my compressor isn't strong enough. Tried a small piece of a 2x4 through the rim resting on the swingarm in gear but the plate still keeps spinning as I try to break it lose. Anyone have any thoughts as to how else I can get this thing out?

It's a 93 XJ600.
