Since I acquired my non running divvy in November 19 , its been sitting in my garage waiting for some spare time to start work on it.
The spare time arrives in the form of the coronavirus pandemic and being furloughed off work for 3 months and counting, after i have finished all the diy around the house as ordered by the wife

I now have a bit of spare time to sort the bike out...
1999 green Divvy very good cosmetic condition, just doesn’t go paid £235 for her.
Anyhow put a new battery on her got her turning over but would not start , so drained the tank put fresh juice in , changed the fuel filter and tried again after a few few attempts on full choke she started , but as soon as you touched the throttle she died.
So off with the carbs gave them a good clean out ( very mucky ) new gaskets, new jets put it all back together and tried again , this time she revved ok but was popping and cracking and sounded like she was running on two or three cylinders, and fuel was pouring out in numerous places.
Picked a set of carbs up of eBay for £50 quid they looked very rough but thought it may be worth a punt . Put them on and she sprang into life..

so gave them a good clean up now look lovely
I have also changed the valve shims , and now in the process of doing the clutch basket rattle..
I will post same pictures..
No doubt i will have a bit more to do yet....
