I bought a -93 XJ600 Diversion S last summer that the seller had dismantled due to a start problem. The engine was rebuilt and the bike got it's first summer in my ownership. Now that the season is here again, I am beginning to catch up on all of the maintenance that the previous user seems to never have done. Also beginning to shape the bike up to be a naked cafe or scrambler or something along those lines. Most of the fairing were in so bad shape that they will be going to trash likely.
No pictures currently, but my front end is beginning to shape up with a new front light and blinker setup. Still waiting for handle bars and such to get the front to it's final form. I've also done some maintenance work replacing tires, chains and sprockets, wheel bearing, oils and have noticed a lot more that need to be checked with the engine. Next weekend will go on valve & carburetor duty!
Any and all tips and suggestions on maintenance and how to achieve a nice rear are more than welcome!
Also; how can I access the Routine maintenance area? Seems like I don't have the permissions for it
