Hi everyone, not only am I new to the forums but I am new to riding. I haven't even had my safety course yet, though it is scheduled for next week!
I am going to be buying a '98 SECA II from my coworker in a few weeks. He's going to throw in a Clymer manual with it and the posts on this forum have already taught me a lot about these bikes. It only has 20,200 miles on it an has been sitting in his garage for about 11 years, so I plan on rebuilding the carbs and of course doing an oil change for sure. The tires on it look fine in the photos I've seen, no dry rot on them. Are there any other things I should check on/rebuild before I try to start her up?
EDIT: I forgot to mention, my avatar is a little something I cooked up in Photoshop and I've had some decals of it printed up to put on the bike since the original ones aren't on it anymore.
