I've made enough changes to the site that I thought I'd write a post about it.

I've updated the PHPBB forum software to version 3.3. This is a version update, going from 3.2.X to 3.3.0. As a result of this:
  • 1. The new version of our site's theme has some changes in the way it displays things. That's why the home-screen tiles have changed.

    2. I've updated all of the site's extensions. Some of them are incompatible with version 3.3 right now. I will keep an eye on those and implement them when they are compatible.

    3. Tapatalk is currently not working. I need a new version from Tapatalk but I've locked myself out of my account. Will restore tapatalk when I get back in. In the meantime, try the site without Tapatalk and see how you like it. Give me feedback.

    4. The national flag extension no longer works. That's what showed our flags on the home screen. I'm trying to resolve this.
Additionally, I've implemented some things I've wanted to do for some time:
  • 1. You can now directly upload images from the post box directly. No more having to open a new web page, upload images to the gallery, then cut and paste in the post. The site now does all that automatically for you. Just click the Upload Images box right below the post box

    2. I've consolidated some of the forums to make navigation easier and more logical. That includes getting rid of some of the sections that just weren’t used and moving their posts to the general forum. That also includes consolidating the Guides and Specification sections of The Wall into one. Both make it easier to use.

    3. I've password protected the online manuals. This is to keep spam-bots and non-participating users from stealing our content and bandwidth. PM me for the password.

    4. I've updated the icons on the main page. They were stale.
If these changes have broken things or cause you concern, reply below and we'll resolve them.
